Olympic Camping

June 3rd-June 8th 2026

Olympic National Park

Washington • Pacific Northwest

This is a 6-day, women-only adventure through the wildly diverse landscapes of Olympic National Park in Washington’s Pacific Northwest. From rugged coastline to moss-draped rainforests and sweeping mountain views, this trip is designed to fully immerse you in one of the most unique national parks in the country.

We’ll spend six days and five nights tent camping as we make a loop from SeaTac Airport through the Olympic Peninsula, exploring dramatic coastal cliffs, tide pools, temperate rainforests, alpine viewpoints, and glacier-fed lakes. We handle the logistics so you can focus on the adventure, connection, and experience of being fully present in the outdoors.

What to Expect

  • Tent camping for the entire trip in established campgrounds throughout Olympic National Park

  • Pickup and drop-off near SeaTac Airport

  • A loop-style itinerary that adapts to weather, tides, trail conditions, and wildlife activity

  • Days spent hiking, exploring, creating, and moving through wildly varied ecosystems

  • Nights of shared meals, campfire conversations, and classic camp life

  • A relaxed but active pace that balances adventure with time to slow down and soak it all in

We’ll be camping in multiple locations, so all personal gear must fit into a backpacking pack or duffle bag for easy transport.

Highlights

  • Hike along stunning Pacific coastline and dramatic sea cliffs

  • Tide pool exploration at Ruby Beach, one of the most iconic beaches in the park

  • Explore the lush, otherworldly temperate rainforests of Quinault, Hoh, & Sol Duc

  • Drive through Forks, Washington (yes, Twilight fans, this one’s for you)

  • Wander beneath towering moss-covered trees and fern-lined trails

  • Visit Hurricane Ridge for sweeping panoramic views of the Olympic Mountains, rolling alpine meadows, and on clear days views stretching to the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Vancouver Island

  • Early June may bring blooming subalpine wildflowers at Hurricane Ridge, including glacier lilies, avalanche lilies, lupine, paintbrush, and shooting stars, depending on snowmelt

  • Soak in the Sol Duc Hot Springs, a perfect way to relax tired legs after a day of hiking

  • Explore the vibrant blue waters of Lake Crescent and its surrounding forest trails

  • A guided watercolor lesson with local artist Kat Haberlack, allowing space to slow down, create, and embrace the stillness of the PNW

  • Rushing waterfalls fueled by June snowmelt

  • Final-night camping at Salt Creek Recreation Area near Port Angeles, with sweeping coastal views and salty ocean air

  • A fresh seafood dinner, camping-style, as waves crash nearby

  • A 3–4 hour whale watching tour in the Puget Sound, where we may see orcas, humpback, gray, and minke whales
