Amy has a background in Environmental Studies and a deep passion for making the outdoors accessible and empowering for women. As a certified Wilderness First Responder, she founded Wandering Wild to create meaningful experiences in nature, guiding women as they build confidence, reconnect with themselves, and embrace their authenticity. In the Channel Islands retreat, Amy leads participants through various hikes that challenge and inspire. She holds space for personal growth and renewal, helping women trust their intuition, recognize their strength, and step into their full potential. Through nature, community, and outdoor skill-building, Amy empowers women to break through limitations and rediscover their sense of adventure—both in the outdoors and in life.

Emily brings a vibrant blend of humor, adventure, and creativity to every Wandering Wild journey. As an assistant trip leader, she helps foster a supportive and encouraging environment where women feel empowered to take on new experiences, embrace the unknown, and find joy in the wild. Her own journey into adventure travel began in the summer of 2024, when she faced her fears and joined a group of strangers on a five-day horseback expedition into the California mountains. That life-changing experience ignited a deep love for bold, soul-stirring travel—and she’s been chasing that feeling ever since. Whether she’s helping set up camp, spotting wildlife along the trail, or making everyone laugh around the fire, Emily’s presence is grounding, uplifting, and full of heart.
